Brainpeace.com User Guidelines
Welcome to Brainpeace.com, this site serves as a blog space for members and employees of Dahn Yoga and Health Centers, Inc. (“Dahn Yoga”), their families, friends and anyone else interested in sharing the benefits of brain-based mind body practices and peaceful living. To ensure a better experience for everyone, we are providing some important user guidelines:
- Please bear in mind that if you create a blog on Brainpeace.com, you are responsible for its content, for maintaining the security of your account and blog and you are responsible for all activities that occur under the account and any other actions taken in connection with the blog. As moderator, Dahn Yoga reserves the right to adjust, correct or remove any offensive, profane, abusive or potentially damaging content. Dahn Yoga will address concerns and complaints by other users or visitors, and will provide notice to the creator of the content in question.
- This blogsite is open to the general public as well as the Dahn Yoga community. Therefore, to prevent misunderstandings we request that you please moderate your language accordingly. Please be mindful that your stories and statements may serve as someone’s introduction to mind body practice, so be careful not to use jargon or dramatic terminology.
- Dahn Yoga has several affiliates. Please respect proper distinctions between Dahn Yoga and affiliated individuals and entities, including the founder, who may not be involved in its business. The most common mistake occurs when someone signs up for a program through Dahn Yoga that is offered by another organization. If you have any questions about it, please contact the Dahn Yoga Legal Department at legal(at)dahnyoga.com or 480-756-5704.
- Please respect the intellectual property rights of others. Make sure that materials on your blog do not infringe the proprietary rights, such as the copyright, patent, trademark or trade secret rights, of any third party. Please use only with proper permission, and where possible, giving attribution to the source. Some examples of potentially infringing content are:- Quotes and passages of text from literary works, including articles or musical lyrics;
- Images and photographs of or belonging to third parties;
- Music files and MP3s;
- Movies and video files; and
- Pirated software. - Materials on your blog must not be libelous or defamatory, or contain threats or incite violence towards others. Even if you fiercely disagree with someone or when someone makes defamatory statements about Dahn Yoga, please treat them with courtesy. It is not necessary to respond to negative statements with the same tone. Stay grounded and handle negativity with clarity and openness.
- We strongly believe in freedom of speech. We believe that having a variety of perspectives is an important part of what makes blogs such an exciting and diverse medium. With that said, there are certain types of content that will not be tolerated on Brainpeace.com. Material that promotes hatred toward groups or individuals based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status, sexual orientation or gender identity is not allowed on Brainpeace.com.
- Make sure that materials on your blog do not contain or install any viruses, worms, malware, Trojan horses or other harmful or destructive content.
- Please notify admin(at)brainpeace.com of any unauthorized uses of your blog, your account or any other breaches of security.
